“Geography is the subject which holds the key to our future.” Michael Palin
Geography helps us to develop a knowledge and understanding of current events from the local area to the wider world. The subject also prepares pupils for the world of work as, with their skills of analysis, Geographers are highly employable. In the increasingly multi-cultural world in which we live, Geography also helps us to become well-rounded and informed individuals.
Without Geography we are nowhere!
Our Scheme of work aims to teach students the important concepts and processes on a variety of scales in line with the National Curriculum for Geography. At the same time we ensure Geography is both engaging and challenging by exploring contemporary and relevant Geographical issues.
