Ryedale and Whitby Year 9 Netball Champions!

Ryedale hosted the Year 9 Netball Partnership Tournament and entered two sides in the event. The ‘A ‘team, led brilliantly by Faye Thornton, dominated the tournament winning all five of their matches to score the maximum 25 points. They managed to score 45 goals, beating Lady Lumley’s, Malton, Eskdale, Caedmon and Ryedale’s B team. It was a great team effort with particularly excellent defending from Grace Walker and Becca Silk and great shooting from Faye Thornton.
